AC-lastscheiders op MCCB-basis Ex9MSD worden toegepast als hoofdschakelaar in uiteenlopende circuits en zijn met name geschikt voor toepassingen in energiedistributie. De lastscheiders hebben dezelfde afmetingen en opbouw als de standaard Ex9M-vermogensautomaten. Daardoor zijn ze volledig compatibel met een breed assortiment interne en externe accessoires, zoals verlengde draaibediening, hulpcontacten, uitschakelunits, motoraandrijving en afdekkappen.
